Mahima Umeed

Established on August 14, 2014, Mahima Umeed is the third child care institution under Mahima India, registered under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015. The home provides specialized, rights-based care for minor survivors of sex trafficking and vulnerable children of sex workers. Through a comprehensive approach—encompassing education, healthcare, psychosocial support, life skills, and vocational training—Mahima Umeed fosters healing, growth, and long-term empowerment. With a strong focus on child participation, safe reintegration, and aftercare, the home is dedicated to helping each child build a future rooted in safety, dignity, and self-reliance
